{"id":487,"date":"2015-01-28T17:28:47","date_gmt":"2015-01-29T01:28:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/?p=487"},"modified":"2015-01-28T17:28:47","modified_gmt":"2015-01-29T01:28:47","slug":"and-just-like-that-its-done","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/?p=487","title":{"rendered":"And Just Like That&#8230;It&#8217;s Done!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I guess that complaining about the sleeves taking forever spurred me on to sit down and actually concentrate on finishing them.\u00c2\u00a0 After all, they&#8217;re only sleeves.\u00c2\u00a0 And plain ones at that!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20150128_155349_clr_sm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-488\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20150128_155349_clr_sm-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20150128_155349_clr_sm\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20150128_155349_clr_sm-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20150128_155349_clr_sm.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Once that happened&#8230;well, they were done.\u00c2\u00a0 After one Knit Night I was halfway finished, then at the end of the second Knit Night they were off the needles and I was giddily trying on the completed sweater.\u00c2\u00a0 Whew!\u00c2\u00a0 Isn&#8217;t it amazing how much knitting you can get accomplished when you put your mind to it?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20150128_155306_clr_sm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-489\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20150128_155306_clr_sm-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20150128_155306_clr_sm\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20150128_155306_clr_sm-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/blog.tangledstrands.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20150128_155306_clr_sm.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>After a short session to weave in all those pesky yarn ends, it went into a soapy bath and then into the dryer.\u00c2\u00a0 This yarn is famous for &#8220;growing&#8221; to super scary proportions when wet.\u00c2\u00a0 The trip through a slightly warm dryer makes it all better and returned the sweater to human dimensions.\u00c2\u00a0 Specifically &#8211; my dimensions.<\/p>\n<p>Folks, this sweater fits great!\u00c2\u00a0 I think I have yet another favorite cozy sweater for the rotation.\u00c2\u00a0 Yay!\u00c2\u00a0 Bonus is that I can wear it immediately.\u00c2\u00a0 The fabric is amazingly soft and springy, hugging in all the right places without being the least bit clingy.\u00c2\u00a0 I only made a few modifications &#8211;
